SWORN TRANSLATIONS - LEGALISED TRANSLATIONS - APOSTILLES
QUOTES PROVIDED ON REQUEST
DESCRIPTION
Asseveration (or sworn translation) is certification that a translation is true to the original text. Asseverations are public records that fall under the responsibility of the Records Office.
Legalisation of a translation consists of attestation of the legal title of the functionary who signed the document and authenticity of his/her signature.
Legalisation is replaced by the Apostille when the country for which the translated document is required has signed the AJA Convention.
